Established in 2013, DBR Projects is a South Australian-owned building and project management company delivering high-quality residential, commercial, hospitality and insurance construction projects across metropolitan and regional South Australia.

Darren Nelson - Director
As Director of DBR Projects, Darren provides the leadership and strategic vision that continues to drive the business forward. With decades of industry experience, he is passionate about building strong client relationships, fostering business growth and delivering high-quality construction solutions. Darren has led the delivery of numerous landmark projects, including Port Road Medical Centre, Bistro Guillaume at Crown Perth and Reynella East Primary School.

Sarah Warner – General Manager
Sarah began her career with DBR Projects as an apprentice carpenter and has progressed through the business to become General Manager. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, supporting the team across all aspects of project delivery while ensuring clients receive exceptional service. With experience across residential, commercial and hospitality construction, Sarah is committed to building lasting relationships and driving the continued success of DBR Projects.

Brett Gooden - Estimator
Brett plays a pivotal role in delivering accurate and competitive project estimates by assessing plans, materials, labour and project requirements. Working closely with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, he helps ensure projects are well planned from the outset. His portfolio includes the Coca-Cola Filling Room Upgrade, OTR Service Stations, Foodland and Unley Woolworths upgrades, along with numerous pubs and hospitality venues across South Australia.

Mark Wodson - Estimator & Project Coordinator
Mark has been an integral part of DBR Projects since 2016, bringing more than 25 years of carpentry and construction experience to the team. From residential homes to commercial fit-outs, his practical knowledge and collaborative approach help ensure projects run efficiently. Mark is also passionate about mentoring apprentices and supporting the development of future tradespeople.

With more than 30 years of building experience, Clayton is a highly respected Project Manager and Site Supervisor known for his practical expertise and leadership on site. His proactive approach, strong communication and commitment to quality ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard while consistently exceeding client expectations.

Kane Hocking – Carpentry Apprentice & Landscaper
Kane joined DBR Projects in 2022 and is currently completing his carpentry apprenticeship after establishing himself as a qualified landscaper. His diverse trade background, strong work ethic and willingness to learn have made him a valuable member of the team. Kane continues to build his skills across a wide range of residential and commercial projects while developing into the next generation of construction professionals.

“At Happy Valley Foodland we have just completed a major refurbishment of the shop, including completely replacing all refrigeration, flooring, lighting, ceilings, most shop fittings & expanding the shop by an extra 235 square metres.
